I want to express my gratitude to Tanya firstly for alerting us to a serious structural problem with the property. We are interstate and so rely completely on our property manager and/or tenants to advise us of issues. If Tanya had simply decided to note on her inspection report some cracks/gaps, I would probably have thought nothing of it. Instead, she called me expressing her concerns and went to great trouble to provide photos which allowed me to understand the seriousness of the problem. As a result of Tanya’s actions, I have been able to report the issues to the builder just before the expiry of our structural warranty period. This has averted a possibly catastrophic financial disaster. Tanya has also spent hours of her time assisting us with access to the property for builders and tradespeople. It’s really difficult when you are an interstate landlord to organise access without a helpful property manager, especially when you are dealing with an inflexible builder. This whole situation is so incredibly stressful and there is just no way I could have dealt with any of this without a great property manager. Thank you Tanya you are priceless, property management fees don’t even come close to what you have done to help us.
